What is Echinacea purpurea?
It is a perennial herb of Echinacea in Compositae. Height 50-150 cm, the whole plant has coarse hair, stem erect; leaf margin serrate. The basal leaves are in the shape of a Mao or a triangle, the cauline leaves are in the shape of a Mao lanceolate, and the petiole base slightly embraces the stem. Capitulum, solitary or mostly clustered at the top of the skill, with large flowers, up to 10 cm in diameter: the central part of the flower is convex, spherical, tubular flowers on the ball, orange yellow; the seeds are light brown, with hard outer skin. Florescence summer and Autumn.
